Marilyn Mangan is a 2D Animator and Production Coordinator from Oceanport, NJ. She is currently in her final year of study as a BFA Animation student at the School of Visual Arts.

With a broad range of creative and organizational skills, Marilyn is interested in working on 2D commercials, TV productions, or feature films. In the summer of 2023, she worked with a small team to create an animated crowdfunding campaign trailer for the comic series “Quasar.” Additionally, she has been working for the past three years as a lab assistant at SVA, helping to support the technology pipeline in the BFA Animation labs. She has created two independent films during her time at SVA so far, as well as acted as Production Coordinator on the student collaborative film “There’s Something in My Eye,” directed by Eni Xu. Marilyn loves bringing stories to life through animation, and would love to help do the same to your own!
